PureAir Advanced Active Purification

PureAir Series
The PHI purification technology used in the PureAir Series, manufactured by RGF Environmental, one of the worlds leading specialists in air, water and food purification does include a tiny amount of UV but not in its usual form. It is a specific non ozone producing UV frequency, specially designed to create a catalytic process with the quad metallic target surrounding it. This completely safe and natural process creates Ionised Hydro-Peroxides, also known as mother nature’s cleaning agents. Ionised Hydro-Peroxides are what naturally cleans and gives the air a fresh smell after a thunderstorm. These cleaning agents are flooded into spaces to provide continuous 24/7 protection.

PureAir Technology Explained

How does the PureAir Series PHI Cell kill bacteria and viruses in the air and on surfaces?
The PureAir Photohydroionisation (PHI) Cell, manufactured by RGF Environmental, one of the worlds leading specialists in air, water and food purification, is a kind of UV light that emits advanced oxidation plasma. Included as part of a fan system, the PHI cell distributes hydro-peroxides, superoxide ions and hydroxide ions throughout the space, neutralising 99% of micro-organisms in the air and on surfaces. PHI cells produce a group of oxidants known as hydroperoxides. Far from new to our world, hydroperoxides have been around for 3.5 billion years – and today they are commonly used in food processing environments, where they offer an anti-microbial treatment without leaving chemical residues.

Active Filtration

A Pure Air installation is classified as an “Active” filtration system. This means that it can neutralize a virus suspended in the air or on any surface in the room, wherever it may be. It is not just cleaning the air it pulls through it, but every part of the space it controls including surfaces. Most importantly, it can be in operation 24/7 while people are present.

Passive Filtration

Almost all other Air Cleaner systems on the market are known as “Passive” Filtration. For a “Passive” system to neutralize a virus, it would first have to pull it through the air, forcing it to cross paths with people and surfaces before it can be passed across some sort of filter or UV light to even have a chance of removal from the air it then pushes back into the room. A Passive system cannot sanitise surfaces.

Tested and Approved

All tests were run using proprietary NPBI ™ technology

This test was run using the GPS-DM48-AC in a test designed to mimic ionization conditions like that of a commercial aircraft’s fuselage. Based on viral titrations, it was determined that at 10 minutes, 84.2% of the virus was inactivated. At 15 minutes, 92.6% of the virus was inactivated, and at 30 minutes, 99.95%of the virus was inactivated.
